This is an example of a glog book review I do with my Library "Hot Dogs." The students read a book and then write a short review. They draw a picture ofthemselves and we animate it. The finished video is put in our book review Glog page for all to see!

  • I don't use a Mac but you might check out the Crazy Talk website and see if they have a version made for it. There must be something out there. It also helps to have a good editing program to "finish" the look.
  • Do you know of anything like crazy talk for the mac?
  • This is wonderful! How creative you are. It's got my creative juices flowing.
  • Thanks for the comments. To animate I use a program called "Crazy talk." It's a program that can work both on a simple level or more complicated if you wish. I use Sony Vegas Video to edit. I am in the process of filming several new reviews but I have some completed ones on my Book Review Glog page:

I am hoping to get several pages together and then have them available for the kids on a dedicated computer. It's a great way to get their work on the Net without showing their "true" identity!
  • how great! how do you animate?
