It was quite an experience last night (webinar 3 OCT); I thoroughly enjoyed it. We had "right many" participants... 52 if memory serves ... (I don't remember being this forgetful when I was younger...).
We enjoyed two MOST EXCELLENT presentations ... with AASL support popping up all over the list ... and many, many other working stiff librarians (not to imply that AASL members are not librarians... grin)...
Three guys showed up, as far as I could see, Craig, Don, and yours truly... needless to say, we couldn't get a word in edgewise... lol ...
The IM function worked well for those without any speaking parts... (grin) ... and anyone could have taken the mike and provided input at the end of the presentation... very cool.
I'm glad I made it and will certainly participate again...
Good job, Joyce, Tamara, and Tiff. . . not that you need my approval or support - you guys are doing a great job without me. I do still appreciate the work you do and the efforts you put forth to help and assist new and established librarians, their students, and their teachers.
Midnight! I may well be up, and if so, I'll check it out, if only to satisfy my curiosity....What is this all about anyway? Is there any more information available anywhere?
