Currently, President of the National Forum on Information Literacy, an advocacy organization supporting a presidential proclamation initiative to establish National Information Literacy Month. Issues such as the Achievement Gap, Workforce Development, and Health Literacy are on our agenda. Primarily mission of the National Forum is to mainstream information literacy philosophy and practice throughout every level of American society. White House Petition

The National Forum on Information Literacy recently submitted to the White House's We The People petition website a petition on the critical importance of information and digital literacy training for our students and our workers in the 21st century.

We need 25,000 signatures by February 13, 2013 supporting the petition in order for the White House to submit an official response.

National Forum on Information Literacy's Gubernatorial Proclamation Campaign

Hi Everyone!

The National Forum on Information Literacy, under the auspices of Dr. Sharon A. Weiner, NFIL V.P. and W.
