I moved to Colorado from San Francisco a year ago. I am (finally) employed at ITT Technical Institute as their library resource coordinator. I am a third generation publicist as well, activist, political "junkie" and (of course) an "information junkie." I love love love books and will read almost anything lol! I was a founding board member of the Children's Book Project in San Francisco, and still would like to start one here. I have two grown sons who are both in the theatre business, in New York and Las Vegas respectively.

I'm Mike McQueen, teacher librarian and founder of http://www.GettingBoysToRead.com. Like many school districts, we are in a financial crises. Our school board recently proposed to eliminate ALL 20+ middle school teacher librarians and also cut all 90+ elementary schools to half time. Since we are the biggest district in all of Colorado, we worry this will cause other districts to follow suit. We launched an online movement and are going to do our best to put up a good fight.
