I have five cats, love the Harry Potter Books and have a very impressive Harry Potter shrine. I was a teacher before going to SUNY Buffalo for the MLS. I am now the Teen Librarian for the Euclid Public Library. Euclid is a first ring eastern suburb of Cleveland. My library is beautiful and my administrators and co-workers the best. Besides HP, I am addicted the the Georgia Nicholson books, and Jodi Piccoult. I will, in the near future, be acquiring two lovely grandchildren as soon as my son marries his lady-love. I feel truly blessed.

I'm Mike McQueen, teacher librarian and founder of http://www.GettingBoysToRead.com. Like many school districts, we are in a financial crises. Our school board recently proposed to eliminate ALL 20+ middle school teacher librarians and also cut all 90+ elementary schools to half time. Since we are the biggest district in all of Colorado, we worry this will cause other districts to follow suit. We launched an online movement and are going to do our best to put up a good fight.
