I'm paralyzed and can't feel texture. I'm planning an activity. I'll hand out socks & have kids put them over their hands. Then I'll have them feel objects. That's how things feel to me. Then I'll have them do an activity with me. We will take a sentence like Patty is pretty and show Patty is pretty, not just tell it.

Another activity I've planned is a stomp a round. You know how kids can sing Row row, row your boat in groups? After group 1 has finished the first verse and begins verse 2, Group 2 to starts verse 1. I wrote a sing-song chant. I'll have Group1 stomp as they chant & Group 2 will clap.

I haven't done one yet, but I'm getting ready. Would love to hear other ideas.
