Can anyone help me find the plush doll that goes with this book? I have purchased the book, but I want to really have an impact on the kids by placing the elf on my desk all year! HELP!!

I think your elf looks great. Love the picture.
I didn't have an elf either but I had the bookworm stuffie. I told the kids that Scoob was always busy working but his friend the bookworm was watching everything. He traveled all over the library and even into some of the classrooms to make sure that the kids were being nice to their books.
Thanks, I think I'm going to make the bookworm next. I'm thinking of "hiding" the elf on a shelf and after reading the book "noticing" the elf on the shelf and pointing him out. Then the rest of the year he'll prob sit on my desk.
Thanks, Its clled sculpey clay, it's a polymer clay that you use like playdoh, then you bake it in the oven. I usually glaze it with polyurethane after it's cooled to seal it, but you don't have to. It's older kid friendly (IT IS TOXIC IF IN THE MOUTH) but lots of fun, you can get it at any craft store.
Cara, I just wanted to add something. I purchased an old trophy at the thrift store and took the figure off the top. Replaced it with a resin garden gnome. This is my shelf elf award . One class a week gets to take it with them and keep it for a week. They take it to lunch and everywhere so that everyone gets to see them. Their name goes on a poster in the MC. Before I made the trophy I had a golden book so they still take that with them. Beth
did you have a website? I think I ran across it, or one like it, with the acronym C.A.R.E.S. each letter was a procedure to follow in the library to obtain the award. Each class earned up to 5 golden tokens and the class that had the most @ the end of the 9 weeks got to take the award for the next 9-weeks.
Than,s so much for researching, the awful thing is the dolls aren't even included in the packages shown! ERRRR, so frustrating just gonna have to make my own I suppose.
