So, the rest of the technology team and I are assigned to prepare for a plan to continue instruction in the event of school closure because of a crisis, such as a flu outbreak. I'm going to look into online learning communities and online personal learning environments. We may also use a courier system for materials and those without internet. I don't know if obtaining internet for our offline students will be considered. I'm thinking about Google Applications for Education with Gaggle filtering, PBWorks for wikis, and Edublogs.
Does anyone else have the a similar task right now?
Does anyone know any good articles about online learning for the K-8 set?
Is anyone out there using the Google Apps with or without the Gaggle.net filtering?
Does anyone know the rules for electronic reserves for K-8 libraries?
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
