Movie Licensing

HELP! I want to have an event at my high school when the Twilight DVD comes out. I have tons of ideas, but the main thing I need to figure out is HOW can I show the movie to a large group of students without breaking copyright. I have done some research on movie licensing for schools, but I cannot find any information concerning Summit Entertainment, the studio who released the film. I'm sure other schools/libraries want to have similar events. Hopefully we can work together to figure out how! Thanks in advance!

  • Librarians in our county use Swank for a license to show a video in a public performance.

I just searched their website and Twilight is listed there.
  • Summit Entertainment may have released the film, but someone else might be releasing the DVD. Check Variety or imdb.com.

Also: they've probably all seen the thing more than once, so you can probably have a release party without actually showing the movie.
