Elementary Book Suggestions Needed

We are doing some planning for next year and need suggestions for good elementary books (other than those by Ryan and Soto) featuring Hispanic characters. Can you help us?

You can't go wrong with the Magic Tree House books, A-Z Mysteries, the Who Was...(Einstein/Mark Twain/etc.). I just discovered the author Lauren St. John and her books - The White Giraffe.

I remembered! I love this book, not sure it is exactly right for Hispanic heritage, but a great book about diversity and skin color:

The Colors of Us
