Collaboration with Classroom Teachers? (elementary)

I am currently completing a Master's with a Library Media Endorsement at Antioch University. For my project I am researching how elementary teacher-librarians can support and collaborate with classroom teachers. I feel this is an important part of a successful library program and am eager to find out how teacher-librarians overcome the obstacles to develop these partnerships. Your perspective on collaborative partnerships with teachers would be extremely helpful.
