My high school library, which I inherited this past August, has very little experience with e-books. As I weeded cassette and VHS tapes from the collection, I began considering what format to invest in for the future. E-books seem like a logical choice, but offer challenges as well. I began to research e-books and came across a company, Brain Hive, that offers e-books by the check-out.
Anyone familiar with the company's business model? Have you used it and developed opinions about its effectiveness in public school libraries?
Thanks for your information and opinions!
Kelly
