We're revamping our reading incentive program this year. Instead of keeping a signed list of books and page numbers, we're giving points for special activities such as creating a podcast booktalk, participating in a lunch bunch/breakfast book discussion group, creating a scrapbook book talk, and blogging reviews. Need ideas on how to maintain records and I'm also looking for other real "incentives" that are not only fun, but activities that the students will want to participate in and will actually gain insightful information from classmates about new books they might want to read. We did our summer book club through IVC and it was great motivation for the students participating.
