“Empowering Future Generations: Information Literacy”On Thursday, October 15, 2009, the National Forum on Information Literacy will celebrate its 20th anniversary by hosting a dinner to honor its achievements at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace conference center in Washington, D.C. Our keynote speaker for the evening celebration will be Mr. Arthur J. Rothkopf, President Emeritus, Lafayette College and Senior Vice-President, U.S. Chamber of Commerce.On Friday, October 16, 2009, the National Forum will host a panel discussion on our anniversary theme and our annual meeting, open to registered participants.More details regarding the anniversary/annual meeting agenda, keynote speakers, registration, and exact times and locations, including maps and directions, and a list of nearby hotels, will be available at www.infolit.org at the end of June.Individual Tickets - $100For Sponsorship Information, visit www.infolit.org
